Bar confidant Cristina Layusa said the oathtaking and signing are not only ceremonial but indispensable as part of the SCs rules and traditions.
In a resolution dated March 18, the SC said records showed Llamas possessed all the qualifications of becoming a member of the Bar, but the petition of his mother, Ma. Lourdes Llamas, could only be noted by the Bar confidant.
