Landscaped walkways and biking areas throughout Quezon City are being eyed under the plan to take advantage of the relatively low-cost, but high-impact value of plants and greenery in terms of visual improvement.
The local government has surveyed 205 open spaces owned by the city, 30 of which can be developed into parks. The Quezon City government is pushing to make open spaces clean, verdant breathing areas unencumbered by structures. – Pia Lee-Brago
