Both the Pinagkaisang Samahan ng Tsuper at Operaytor Nationwide (FEJODAP) said PRISM has the modern equipment and facilities needed in the implementation of the IT Code project of the agency. Likewise, FEJODAP leaders also called on the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) to effect a uniform IT Code for all the drug-testing centers operating nationwide, particularly in Metro Manila.
FEJODAP President Zeny Maranan said that the multiple IT codes for drug testing centers is prone to anomalies and corruption of LTO employees. She added that PRISM would implement the IT Code project unbiased since it owns no drug testing centers unlike other companies vying for the computerization program at the LTO.
"If the implementation of the IT Code project of the LTO will only be carried out by PRISM, then it would be easier for the LTO employees to track down who among motorists are positive for drugs," Maranan said.
"But if all legal operators of drug testing centers will have their own IT codes, then there is a possibility that drug-crazed motorists would still manage to secure drivers licenses by conniving with drug testing operators," she added.
