Enid Pacheco, married, of 70 Road I, Project 6, sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physicians at a nearby hospital.
The suspects, who carted away more than P50,000 in cash, immediately fled the scene.
Police said the incident could have taken place at about 3 a.m. in the victim‘s office near her home in Project 6. She was apparently going over the day’s earnings when the assailants barged in.
The suspects bludgeoned the victim and took the money, as she collapsed on the floor. Police believe that the suspects tried to break open a safe in the office, but failed.
Neliscia Dichoso found the bloodied victim sprawled on the floor at about 6:30 a.m. Pacheco was rushed to the hospital where she expired at about 7:01 a.m. – Matthew Estabillo
