Drug pusher arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Some wives of motorcycle-for-hire drivers have told the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF) that a suspected drug pusher had coaxed their husbands to use shabu.

The information led to the arrest of one Ronel Damaolao, 26, of barangay Talamban Monday afternoon in a buy-bust operation.

CAIDSOTF chief, Senior Inspector Eunil Avergonzado said the wives voluntarily gave information on Damaolao’s involvement in illegal drugs.

He said drug users don’t provide for their families because their income is spent on shabu.

“Nalipay gani to sila nga nadakpan ni siya kay ang ilang mga bana di na mouli og sayo unya wa nay kwarta nga i- remit”, said Avergonzado.
