Lapu-Lapu pays for drug addicts’ rehab

CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City extends financial support to drug addicts who undergo rehabilitation.

Mayor Paz Radaza said arresting drug addicts is not a solution, but sending them to rehabilitation centers is.

She said the assistance given by the city government for those undergoing rehabilitation at a drug center in Argao town is released through the City Social Welfare Office.  (FREEMAN)
