CEBU, Philippines - A 23-year-old call center agent lost P38,000 to armed men in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn while on the way to work at MEPZ II on a tricycle.
Marvin Anticamara sought police assistance.
The police said Anticamara was joined by three men on the tricycle somewhere in barangay Basak.
One of the men took out a gun, another a knife, while the third man took his money.
The police said Anticamara jumped from the slow moving tricycle without taking a look at the vehicle’s color or plate number. The tricycle sped off.
Anticamara also lost a cellular phone and other gadgets placed in a bag he left behind.
Anticamara said he is engaged in a small scale lending business and the money he had was to be deposited in a bank.
He said the driver could have been involved in the theft. - THE FREEMAN
