CEBU, Philippines - A German national who resides in Fortune Plains, barangay Cansojong, Talisay City was robbed of valuables while sound asleep.
Peter Raddatz, 47, married, has been residing in the place for the last three years.
SPO4 Daniel Tarucan and PO3 Ferdinand Pablo said the incident took place while Raddatz was asleep.
The police found a smashed window.
Raddatz said missing are his Quosmio Toshiba laptop worth P60,000; a Samsung netbook laptop, P16,000; another netbook laptop, P14,000; four Nokia cellphones worth P23,000; a ladies bag with P24,000 in it; a Panasonic camera worth P6,000; a Timex wrist watch, P2,900, pieces of jewelry, and various identification cards.
Everybody in the house woke up when Raddatz’s son, Peter, awakened when something fell on the floor, and called his parents from the other room.
And then they found out they were robbed.
The incident is the second burglary to be recorded in Talisay this month.
Early this month, Jessie Gil Ababon of barangay Tabunok was robbed of cash, electronic gadgets, and pieces of jewelry. But the suspected thief, Cyrus Cardente, was immediately arrested by the police. (FREEMAN)
