CEBU, Philippines - Residents of Consolacion town are now obliged to segregate garbage.
Mayor Teresa Alegado said there is a need to minimize the volume of garbage to be dumped at the sanitary landfill in barangay Polog.
"Aron dili kaayo daghan ang atong malabay nga basura ug ingon man mumenus usab ang atong gasto, angayan nga ang katawhan mag segregate sa ilang basura," Alegado said.
Alegado is asking students, teacher, and barangay officials to support garbage segregation. - THE FREEMAN
