Peter Copping Named as New Creative Director at Oscar de la Renta
MANILA, Philippines - In this season’s round of designer shake-ups, British-born designer Peter Copping was recently confirmed as the new Creative Director for Oscar de la Renta. Until recently, Copping was the Creative Director for French couture house Nina Ricci. The New York-based eponymous label is known for exquisite craftsmanship and setting the gold standard for feminine silhouettes—of recent renown, Amal Alamuddin chose the brand when she wed Hollywood A-lister George Clooney.
The 82 year-old designer de la Renta is not slated to retire and will remain involved in the design process. As Creative Director, Copping will be responsible for all product categories: including ready-to-wear, accessories, bridal, and home décor.

Titled “The One That I Want”, glamour meets sportif as we see Gisele riding the waves in a Chanel wetsuit with requisite Chanel surfboard in tow. Bündchen is the newest face of the iconic perfume, coming from past campaign stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Brad Pitt, and most notably, Nicole Kidman—who starred in a disarmingly enchanted film directed by Luhrmann in 2004.
