Come out and play?

MANILA, Philippines - Remember the time when a box of eight crayons was all you needed to get creative? When you're tired of going from ivory to eggshell, charcoal to asphalt, navy to midnight, try treading closer to the core of the color wheel, where, your preschool teacher must've taught you, primary and secondary colors reside. Remember ROYGBIV? They're your best friends when your makeup routine gets stuck in a rut of nudes and neutrals.

The trick to wearing color on your face is to either go easy, or go all out. YStyle, of course, took it to the extreme for your Friday reading pleasure — as in yellow highlights on the cheeks, blue eyeshadow and red lips, or magenta lids and a bold yellow pout.

Revisit your good old color wheel for inspiration (green complements red, purple complements yellow), or channel your inner rebel and color outside the lines.
