MANILA, Philippines - Girls are definitely going places. Some, as my girl Iggy Azalea says in Work, are “tryna get dat rich†in their respective jobs, hustling hard. Some are leaving said jobs to jet off to great grad schools across the globe to trick out their skill set and, well, try to make it in America. (Or wherever.) And still some are leaving said jobs to live the life I not-so-secretly continue to dream about: that of the lady of leisure, lounging around post-Pilates in Stella McCartney for Adidas workout wear, lunching with amigas, day in and day out. (“You’ll get bored!†say all of my friends who are card-carrying tai tais, columnist Ana Kalaw included.) It's a big world out there, and we're going to get whatever we want.
