Go Sunnies, it’s yo birthday

MANILA, Philippines - There’s house parties and then there’s Sunnies parties.

Last Sunday, eyewear brand Sunnies turned one and celebrated it like any MILF-y Forbes mommy would — by throwing an insanely blinged out children’s party for the Blue Ivy of the Polo Club playground. Bouncy castles, free Sunnies, a literal burger bar, a wheel of Sunnies fortune, a pool full of Brazilians with abs — it was as if the children’s party of your dreams tripped on acid and ended up in Jimmy Eat World’s The Middle video (children, Google it).

In a secret location in the South of Manila (a huge house in Forbes Makati), the fab foursome behind Sunnies Studios (Georgina Wilson, Martine Cajucom, Bea Soriano, and Eric Dee) gathered a shinny happy crowd that was a mix of regulation hotties, industry power players, and the coolest of the new crop of cool kids. (Plus us — the Glen Coco to the Sunnies girls’ Regina George.)

It was a celebration of everything the eyewear brand stands for — a girly L.A. cool that’s both chill and energetic. And with 30 Sunnies stores and counting, sky’s the limit for Sunnies Studios.
