MANILA, Philippines - There are 10 slots for participants open in the art writing workshop being offered by the Baguio Writers Group (BWG) and the Bencab Art Foundation May 23-24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Bencab Museum’s Larawan Hall, Km. 6, Asin Road, Tuba, Benguet.
Resource persons are Yason Banal, Philippine STAR columnist and teacher at the UP Diliman Film Institute, and Lito Zulueta, sub-editor for arts and books of Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Ten slots for participants are still open. A pre-registration fee of P500 must be deposited in the BWG’s account to hold a slot. Reservations must be made through baguiowriters@ gmail.com or 0908-3612844.
The workshop aims to equip local writers, art enthusiasts and other interested individuals with tools with which they can think and write about art and literature. Travel time to the museum is 15 minutes by car from Baguio City’s central business district and about half an hour by public jeep.
