On the road, on the trail and even on or off the bike, the Crocs Tikali has got it going on. The Tikali’s are every man’s partner for outdoor play. They are lightweight, durable, comfy and stylish. And it’s no wonder that good friends and cycling buddies Mannito Duenas, Donn So, Angelo Barretto, Tomas Bernardo, Austin Andrews and Cess Almazora were more than happy to take it out for a little test-ride one easy afternoon.
The Crocs Tikali is an open-toe sandal that makes it ideal for camping and hiking, especially when you’ve got to wade through rivers. There are also adjustable hooks and straps on the sandals to keep your feet in place whatever terrain your treading on. And what’s more, it’s also made of the Crocs patented technology Crocs Croslite which produces soft, ultra-comfy lightweight sandals with superior gripping strength and odor resistance.
Mannito, Donn, Angelo, Tomas, Austin and Cess agree that the sandals are not for heavy for competitive biking, but more for an easy biking stroll in the park.
“I bike about three times a week. I’d ride everyday if I could, but I have to balance my time between work and family,” Donn says. Angelo wishes that he and everyone else could get on the bike more often, and for very good reason, “I do not get the chance to ride as often as I like, but if I could, I would get on the bike more as I have realized the benefits that a regular ride has on my health and proved that bicycle commuting is not as impractical as people think, even in the Philippine setting.”
“It’s the challenge of forcing yourself to push the edge of the envelope further with your biking skills and the bike’s capabilities. Trying to go further and faster each time is a big challenge,” quips Tomas. Cess adds, “It’s good exercise and hardly damages your joints, unless you fall.”
Asked how the Tikali’s are holding up during a bike ride, the guys all believe that it’s so far, giving them a good first impression. For Austin, the Tikali’s were really love at first sight, “I love Crocs, it really comfortable and really durable. First time I tried it, I was sold. Now, I wear my Crocs everyday.”
Cess simply loves how the Crocs look and feel, “It’s a good looking and extremely comfortable sandal, like living dangerously.”
Crocs Tikali’s comes in five color combinations: army green/orange, black/black, chocolate/army, khaki/khaki and navy/blueprint.
