Mane attraction

Loving one’s locks should be incorporated into everyone’s beauty credo. People shell out enormous sums of money and dedicate time to having their hair cut, styled, highlighted and colored by top stylists. Those that care for their hair as if it were skin on their face never think twice on spending for fancy treatments and name brand products. So if you’re going to spend and tend to your tresses, you may as well do the whole shebang and shop for the tools to top it off. Sometimes it’s the magic of the instrument that can help deliver a perfect hairdo. Even if you are simple and don’t normally dole out the cash, a simple purchase of a hairbrush can make heads turn in your direction.

Acca Kappa (trade name for H Krull & C) has been on the block since 1869 so I’d say they know a thing or two about haircare. With a complete line of hairbrushes and combs dedicated to meet the needs of professional hairdressers (if it’s good enough for them, it surely must be good for us) Acca Kappa collaborates with top hairdressing salons for research and development to manufacture products that are modern and cutting-edge. Wooden brushes are made with high-quality wood and are crafted into ergonomic shapes which provide for better grips and balanced weight. Some include a non-slip grip with special ridged handles that are time-saving. How many times have you seen brushes gone flying? With product smeared all over my hands, it’s hard to get a grip on my beauty tools. These brushes were designed to keep your tresses looking their best while considering scalp health as well. Rubber pads are included on air-cushioned brushes which absorb and distribute pressure evenly on the brush which translates to more precision on the scalp. Pins in nylon and metal brushes have rounded tips which delicately massage the scalp. Tons of thought and careful consideration have been put into creating these high-quality brushes to meet the needs of all customers.

The Extension series (P695) are made of pure boar hair tufts and twin monofilament pins in soft nylon designed specifically for smoothing out hair extensions.  Made of a kotibe wood handle, the anti-static Air-cushioned series (P895) has a rubber pad and boar hair bristles created for medium to long locks. Also for medium to long hair is the Paddle series (P895) with round-ended pins to massage the scalp. To add sheen and volume to hair, we suggest the Control Plus series (P595) made of boar hair and a rubber sponge grip for better handling on your hair. The Porcupine series (P595) is a round brush made of tufts and monofilament pins that perfects the shaping of blow-dried hair. For hard to manage hair, the Duo Force series (P595) contains bristles of different heights to get a better grip on tough tresses. A super thin Curling-resin Tips series (P295) feature blowdryer-resistant nylon pins with resin tips to finish wavy and curly hair types. For shorter hair, the Curling series (P595) does a mighty fine job, as it has alternating rows of bristles and pins, while for all hair types, the Circular series (P595) is made for blowdry finishes. The High Density series (P595) are made of quills on the bristle pad which provide for streak-less grooming, the Thermic Non-slip series (P695) gives good grip and the Vent series (P145) is great for disentangling and adding volume. There is even a Sanitized series which is treated with an antimicrobial to prevent bacteria buildup on the brush for major protection.  Professional combs (P195) are fabulously smooth and have tapered teeth with rounded tips which are scalp savers. That’s a laundry list of tools.

Maintain strong, healthy-looking hair with Acca Kappa as your weapon of choice. They are the tricks of the trade. Instead of abracadabra, say Acca Kappa.
