Did you have fun spinning at sunset?
Definitely! It was all new to me. It was my first experience spinning on the beach at sunset and playing for a crowd which was all Filipino, I don’t get that in North America.

How will you remember the Beach House 2004?
This is the first time I’ve experienced a DJ capture the true afternoon beach party vibe. The party was happening. The music was sweet. The feel was nice and easy. It was the perfect Boracay beach party!

How did the DJS of MYX Beach Ball express themselves at Cocomangas?
People who know hip hop know that DJ Apollo is one of the best hip hop DJs in the world, and it was proven at Cocomangas since everyone enjoyed the music he played. As for DJ Kristian, he is one of Australia’s fastest rising stars. His style and technique brings out the best in the music. Together the two DJs made the party fantastic. It’s something that you don’t see every week when you’re out. The mix of soul funk disco and hiphop made the energy high until dawn.

In one word, how would you describe the energy at Studio 23’s Beach House 2004?
Spectacular! I haven’t been to a really good party since I got back from the States that catches the underground vibe of Canada, New York and San Francisco, and Studio 23 has accomplished this.

What makes Beach House 2004 different from all the other events in Boracay this summer?
It was the back-to-basics concept plus the essentials of Boracay which are sun, sand, sea, good music and great company. Anything more than that, the vigor will fade.

We continually think of something new to give our guests, not just a new DJ or new venue, but a whole new theme and feel. We make it a point to always be different from everyone else.
