Throughout the fete, live mannequins roamed around the Fila boutique and the cordoned area in front of it, they wore pieces from the Ferrari Vintage collection styled in the current fashion, while mingling with attendees composed of Fila business associates like Fila’s Chris Chongson, Dragon Titan’s Oscar Co, Wendy Ang and Susan Rile, Toby’s Bobby Claudio, Sportmart’s Thirdy Escaño, Adimex’s Allan Dacanay, Richmond Lim of Time Depot and fashion people like Annette Coronel and Rissa Samson. Fila image endorses like Chase Tinio, Miguel Noble, Elmer Lago, Dindo Pumaren and Marlou Aquino, sports press Ronnie Poe and style press like Donnie Ramirez and Dinah Ventura. Fila president Butch Albert was garbed like he was ready to take on an Italian racetrack, while wife and Fila EVP Cris Albert wore an equestrian suit complete with knee-high riding boots.
The Ferrari Vintage line is inspired by the Ferrari dream that began when Futurism was celebrating the ideals of flight and speed. With the image of prancing horse as its signature, its tail and mane flowing in the impetus, it harks back to the first time Enzo Ferrari saw the emblem in 1923 painted on the fuselage of World War I ace Francesco Baracca’s aircraft. From these beginnings in the Italian provinces, one man’s dream became a legend on racetracks and roads throughout the world. Much more than a name, it became a symbol of style, of art and Italian quality of life.
The Ferrari Vintage collection is now available in all Fila outlets nationwide.
