MANILA, Philippines - Over the past year, The Manila Hotel has transformed its grand ballroom, the Fiesta Pavilion, into a luxurious realm, adding more flexibility and functionality in response to the increasing demand for smarter spaces as the capital city prepares to host global events.

The Fiesta Pavilion was once the venue of choice for fabulous debuts, memorable weddings and nostalgia-laden anniversaries. It also played host to countless state functions and historic occasions that have drawn a large number of delegates and celebrities from around the world.

The Herculean task of renovating one of the most cherished ballrooms in the Grand Dame has taken a whole year. “To date, the Fiesta Pavilion has a total renovated space of 1,522.79 square meters and can now accommodate 1,300 people for a sit-down dinner or buffet and 1,800 people for cocktails, making it the premier choice for business conferences as well as social functions,” said Enrique Yap Jr., EVP of The Manila Hotel.

The newly renovated event space is equipped with cutting-edge lighting fixtures that showcase seamless color-changing LED systems and updated theater-like set-up that features an artfully-lit ceiling and wall panels that adapt to the mood and nature of the event. With its new design, it is set to attract more conventions, conferences, and exhibits with its expansive floor area and modern integrated facilities.

With the much awaited transformation of the Fiesta Pavilion done, it re-affirms the Grand Dame’s reputation as the perfect destination for meetings, conventions and intimate affairs. ?“Truly, the opening of the new Fiesta Pavilion of the Grand Dame marks another triumph in this gracious white and green stucco building where Manila’s heart, its dreams, romance, and history all live within its walls,” said Nian Liwanag-Rigor, AVP for Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
