One Pacific Place Serviced Residences to open this July

MANILA, Philippines - The soon-to-open addition to the pulsating Makati cityscape is poised to help boost the country’s hospitality industry.

One Pacific Place Serviced Residences, which offers hotel guestrooms and services ideal for brief holidays or extended stays, is prepping up for its grand launch this July.

What makes One Pacific Place a landmark is its distinct “architecture in motion,” said its general manager, Eric Bernie Corpus.

“The building will have two different facades (placed) on each side — the Buendia/Gil Puyat and HV de la Costa streets. (So) there will be a different perspective when viewed from a particular angle,” said Corpus, adding that the “design will be simple but iconic, and will promote the tenets of green architecture.”

Aside from the outward design features, the interiors of the 35-story structure will showcase flexible, clean and streamlined spaces, and will take advantage of natural lighting and ventilation. All these form part of its efforts to meet the current market’s increasing consciousness toward efficient energy consumption and an environmentally sensitive lifestyle.

The 48-square-meter one-bedroom premier suite is complete with kitchen and cooking facilities.

One Pacific Place is the latest property development of ACI Group and Cactus Realty Corp., owner and developer of luxury business hotel Pan Pacific Manila as well as Adriatico Square, a recreational and entertainment complex in Malate, Manila. Quantum Hotels and Resorts is its management company.

One easily recognizable advantage is its enviable location in this business district. It affords guests — business travelers in particular — convenience and accessibility to major commercial establishments, multinational offices, banks, embassies, schools, and hospitals.

Mabel Tobias, sales and marketing director, said the hotel boasts of a two-floor amenity center that includes state-of-the-art recreational and gym facilities, lap pool, jogging path, lounges with Wi-Fi access, and a daycare center, among other features.

She said the property’s philosophy is anchored on “consistent, ever-evolving focus on customer approval,” as a customer’s appreciation always translates to loyalty, positive reviews, and referrals.

The lobby lounge boasts of a contemporary look.

“We are committed to provide excellent service. Guests will be treated as VIPs. An efficient and personalized service is also a core objective as we aim to become an undisputed hotel in the area, and provider of hotel accommodation, F&B services and other amenities,” she added.

Amid the competition, Tobias maintained that while One Pacific is yet to formally open, they are optimistic about its “positive performance,” which also refers to its skilled employees who are given updated courses, and “the strong financial backbone that will provide the high-quality of amenities to ensure the satisfaction of guests.”

Corpus said, “We are looking forward to establishing a reputation as a standard-class hotel known for its facilities, services, and commitment to provide for the needs of its guests.”
