MANILA, Philippines – Macau further strengthens its position as a leading destination for MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) when it holds two major international events on Nov. 24-26.
The sixth International Hotel Equipment and Supplies Expo and the fifth International Audio, Lighting and Performance Entertainment (ALP) Expo will showcase diverse attractions of Macau and will demonstrate that it is not just a destination for fun and play but is also a place for the business-minded.
To be held at The Venetian Macao, the hotel expo is expected to draw some 6,000 visitors. It will provide a professional platform for exchange and cooperation among professionals in the hospitality industry, even as it is expected to add momentum to the flourishing hotel equipment and supplies industry in Macau.
The event is in keeping with the implementation of the state’s plan to boost further economic and cultural exchange in the Pearl River Delta — Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
With the Asia-Pacific economy gradually recovering and the tourism industry continuously showing signs of expansion, the expo will open new opportunities for Macau’s hotel and hospitality industry.
The entertainment expo, which will also be held at The Venetian Macao, also aims to offer guests opportunities for business networking.
It is a perfect complement to the hotel expo, which will draw people from the hotel and hospitality industry. Entertainment, after all, is a factor that could make or break a hotel and hospitality enterprise.
The ALP Expo, also expected to attract some 6,000 guests, is committed to provide the best trade platform for business matching, products promotion and networking opportunities.
Guests can expect to gain new insights and ideas on their business, particularly from the host, which is a major player in the Asia-Pacific tourism market.
