MANILA, Philippines - A perfect synergy of fashion and beauty unveils when international leading skincare brand Pond’s and famed home-grown clothing brand Plains & Prints present a collection dubbed as “Fashion’s Finest and Beauty’s Best.”
Pond’s and Plains & Prints bring together eight top fashion and beauty icons to lead the special collection with Pond’s that will be seen in all Plains & Prints stores nationwide. Led by Pond’s’ endorser Rissa Mananquil and Plains & Prints’ image model Celine Lopez, the collection will also showcase real estate scion Divine Lee, Project Runway Philippines model-judge Apples Aberin, model Kelly Misa, personality development expert Patty Betita, bag and interior designer Mai Kaufman, and model-makeup artist Bianca Valerio.
Twenty-two red and white dresses exclusively made for the collection took more than six months in the making. The entire red and white limited-edition collection represents Pond’s Age Miracle and Pond’s Flawless White lines, and still stays true to Plains & Prints design philosophy — fine workmanship, meticulous detailing, and a creative fusion of different textiles and sewing methods to develop new forms.
Each design makes use of new techniques and cloths that Plains & Prints found in Hong Kong and other countries. Just when you thought you’ve shopped for all the possible designs in a dress, silhouettes such as A-line, drop waist, tulip cut, stingray cut, overlap draping, and peplum hems are constructed with the different Pond’s Plains & Prints dresses to fit the different body types of the modern woman. Here, Plains & Prints introduces to the industry the advance process of heat-pressed stamping and digital printing over sequins.
The new beauty and style statements by Pond’s and Plains & Prints collection will be available in stores on July 3.
