See over 100 musical acts at Fête de la Musique

MANILA, Philippines - The global phenomenon that is Fête dela Musique is set to hit Manila yet again, showing newbie music festivals how it’s done. The event, which is held in more than 120 countries, is the world’s biggest multicultural music festival. Today’s event will feature 10 hours, 100 of the best local acts, eight pocket stages, and one main stage. The main stage will be headlined by the French electropop supergroup Naïve New Beaters, whose rock-electronica-hip hop sounds are making waves in Europe. The eight pocket venues will be independently-organized and divided by genre: electronic by Nomad Massive at Buddha Bar, indie by Terno Recordings at B-Side, rock and pop-rock by Revolver Productions at SaGuijo, jazz by PI Jazz Festival Foundation at the Bay Leaf Lounge, St. Giles Hotel, hip-hop by Music Colony at Society Lounge, latin at Chihuahua, soul and ska by MamboRat Productions and Manila Soul Club at H&J, and world & reggae by Rebel Lion Productions at Café Curieux. The main stage will be held at the A. Venue open parking, and the music starts at 4 p.m. The whole event will be free of charge. No excuses.
