State of the fashion nation declared over a 'Tatler' triple-threat spread

MANILA, Philippines - Over drinks at the Establishment last February, Anton San Diego showed me, with much drama, the best Philippine Tatler three-edition cover to date. The sizzling hot March 2010 issue — the glossy’s fashion issue — features the “IT” trio of Georgina Wilson, Solenn Heussaff, and Steph Kienle — all with their own renditions of how to play with your Hermes scarf.

“Gracing the cover as this year’s ‘The Girls of Summer,’ Wilson, Heussaff, and Kienle were hands down the first choices for their all-encompassing beguiling beauty, brains, charm, and ambition,” mused Anton about my (and the scene’s for that matter) favorite muses.

“Photographed by Frank Hoefsmit, the young ladies were shot on two separate days at two locations (Hoefsmit’s studio and the stunning Minotti house owned by Ferdie Ong) — where the three got to channel their inner goddesses and bond over fashion with gorgeous Brazilian models Pedro Ditkun and Ademar Oliveira,” said Anton as he showed his advance copy to an impressed group of friends which included Ruffa Gutierrez, Pops Fernandez, and Joji Dingcong.

I always look forward to the Tatler’s fashion issue. It’s always a great collectible compilation of fashion’s choicest movers and pace setters. It’s like a nicely assembled yearbook on who fashion loves for lovers of fashion. Go grab one — no, three, now!
