MANILA, Philippines - The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) presented “Fashion With A Vision” featuring professional models, guest models, and members of FCCP wearing exotic creations by Dita Sandico Ong, Patis Tesoro and Malu Veloso made from indigenous fibers like abaca, piña, banana, and many others abundantly grown in the Philippines. It also featured creations by young, talented fashion designers from the UP BS Clothing Technology Batch 2012 made from locally manufactured materials.
This fundraising was organized by the fashion show committee core group headed by president Nene Leonor, director-in-charge Rose Marie Lazaro, chairpersons Karen Macasaet and Tessie Rodrigo with co-chairpersons Lulu Castaeda, Letty Hahn, Rosita Lesaca, Chloe Romulo Periquet and Glecy Mojares. Funds raised will go to the scholarship program and other projects of FCCP.
Among FCCP’s “Fashion With A Vision” sponsors were Golden Lion Films International, Cats Motors, Inc., Vibal Publishing House, Asia Textile Mills Inc., and F.E. Zuellig Inc.
