Eagles soar with silver championship rings

MANILA, Philippines - UAAP Season 74 may have ended but the Eagles continue to soar in their victory.

The Eagles kept their eyes on the sky the whole season. The players aimed to fly to the peak of perfection with a 14-game sweep during the eliminations but who would have thought that the last game before making it to the Final Four would be their first loss for the season. The Eagles were defeated by the Falcons (Adamson University). Sad faces of the Atenean crowd made the angry Eagles hunger for more. They swept the championship games against the FEU Tamaraws. All the hard work resulted in a four-peat.

tradition Louie Gutierrez, president of Silverworks, proudly presented the symbolic championship ring to the Blue Eagles last Oct. 1. The whole team together with their coach Norman Black received the ring as an award that symbolizes the team’s unity and victory.

Silver championship rings were given to each player not only to accessorize but to remind them of the victory.

Will these championship bull rings be an inspiration for the Blue Eagles to fly even higher next season?
