Greenbelt gives back

MANILA, Philippines - Premier lifestyle and shopping destination Greenbelt celebrates Christmas in style by giving back. Splendid architecture coupled with the latest in fashion welcomed Manila’s finest as Greenbelt 4 unveiled the holiday collections of its designer brands.

Ayala Malls, in partnership with American Express and Children’s Hour, presented the holiday lines of Boss Black, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Bulgari, Charriol, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo and Tod’s; and an auction that will benefit Children’s Hour’s rehabilitation and rebuilding programs.

Silver chic was the theme of the night and the Coro de San Sebastian choir serenaded the crowd with classic Christmas carols. The evening was not just about the finer things in life but also about extending a helping hand to those in need. Lifestyle experiences from the Ayala Malls Group, Stores Specialists Inc., Bulgari, Louis Vuitton and Children’s Hour were also auctioned off to guests.

The Ayala Malls group gave patrons a chance to purchase a private movie screening for 50 people at Greenbelt MyCinema while Stores Specialists Inc. auctioned off designer bags from Marc Jacobs, Tod’s and Michael Kors. Bulgari gave patrons the opportunity to host a complete champagne dinner for 12 at Mi Piace in Peninsula Manila. Also auctioned off were two invites to the opening of Louis Vuitton’s Global Store at Ngee Ann City, Singapore, and Children’s Hour’s Rolex Oyster watch and artworks by Jaime Zobel.

Led by Ayala executives assistant vice president Myrna Fernandez, Greenbelt general manager AC Ocampo, and division manager Mariciris Bernardino, the affair gathered the most stylish and charitable individuals including host Bianca Valerio, Camille Mathay, Global Asiatique’s Divine Lee, Rustan’s’ Mike Huang and wife Kathy Yap-Huang, Kaye Tinga, and Raymond Gutierrez to name a few.
