A sense of wellness

In my travels to Australia and the US, and in the many discussions I have had with various people, I have come to realize that conventions pose great possibilities for learning. On occasions like these many people are able to significantly improve their lives by coming into contact with a particular technology or a particular train of thought.

With the desire to expose the public to varying modalities of wellness, which has not been done in a large scale as of yet, there will be a Family Wellness Festival at the La Mesa Eco Park on Nov. 12 and 13.

It is important for people to keep an open mind, to welcome new ideas and new ways of doing things, but it must be an openness coupled with mature discernment.

My hope is that in the years to come there will be greater and more exciting possibilities – not only with what is available here in relation to wellness, but also with what exists out there in the world at large. A sharing, an interaction and a raising of the bar of what the Philippines can experience will happen.

We have this life and it is a gift. We need to maximize what God has given us and make the most out of every opportunity to be the best that we can be – to grow to our optimum potential. We must be able to experience what life has to offer with courage and enthusiasm. We can be anything – do anything.

We should feel free to explore what is there without fear. And if we have something to share, that we share generously – with a sense of service.

I have always felt and still feel that the Philippines is special – that we are special. And that given the right environment we can achieve so much.

So join me on this path of growth. It is good for us and for our families. It is good for the country.

Come to the Family Wellness Festival at La Mesa on Nov. 12 and 13. Join our musical extravaganzas – the Jazz Festival on the first night, and the Neo Ethnic Pinoy Rock on the second day. The event promises to be quite enriching. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
