Joel Tesoro, the son of Jose Claro "Tito" and Maria Beatriz "Patis" Tesoro, proved this when he wed dusky Indonesian beauty Tania Fajar, the daughter of businessman Ibner and Esmeralda Fajar during the solemn Muslim rites held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Love bloomed between the Yale-educated Joel and Tania, then an Agence France-Presse journalist, while both were covering stories in Medan, South Sumatra.
World-renowned designer Patis and dynamic hubby Tito hosted an elegant Filipiniana- themed post-wedding affair for the newlyweds at the scenic Villa Escudero, attended by the bride’s family.
