However this is not the time for us to relax and become complacent. Before we cast our votes we should carefully scrutinize the candidates’ credentials, look into their lifestyles, as well as their family members, we have suffered to much and too long; we cannot afford to commit the same mistakes. Tomorrow each of us has the power to shape our country’s destiny. Let us go out and vote only for the candidates whom we feel will serve our country best. We deserve nothing less.
Gina Lopez, ABS CBN Foundation: For senators: Winnie Monsod, Franklin Drilon, Sergio Osmeña, Ramon Magsaysay, Jr., Bobby Tañada.
These are some of the candidates I will be voting for because they have integrity, vision and courage. They stand for their principle.
Enrique Zobel, businessman: For senators: Juan Flavier, Ramon Magsaysay, Jr., Sergio Osmeña III, Winnie Monsod, Bobby Tañada
I believe they are honest. The bills they have passed are favorable to the people and I have never heard that they are "for sale." All the rest, I have heard some bad comments about them and some definitely can be bought. Plus some have selfish interests.
As for the local candidates, I am voting in my hometown, Calatagan, Batangas.
Joey De Leon, TV host, producer, comedian: First in my list would be Winnie Monsod, Bobby Tañada and Joker Arroyo because I trust and believe in them.
Mandy Dela Rama Santos, product development head,M.R. Knitwear Specialists Inc.: 13-0 in favor of People Power Coalition because I trust GMA.
Mary Prieto, etiquette guru: For Congress, here in Makati, I will vote for Teddy Locsin and for senators I’m going to vote 13-0 because I believe in Gloria. I think she can do a lot of good for our country and she’s on the right track.
Raymund Puyat, businessman: At this point I only have four senatoriables in mind; Angara because of what he has done especially in the field of agriculture. I had the pleasure of meeting him and presenting our projects to him and I believe he was a big help as far as agriculture is concerned.
Lacson, I know of a lot of Chinese who tell me that they admire the guy as PNP director.
Now the "Kotong Cops" are back again.
Pagdanganan  since we have a lot of investments in Bulacan. I think Governor Pagdanganan during his term did a lot for the province which Governor Josie dela Cruz is continuing.
Enrile– simply for his stand on the Power Purchase Agreement issue which has now made a lot of difference in our electric bills.
Teddy Casiño, activist: Of course for party list, it’s Bayan Muna. For Makati, it’s the clean team of Edu Manzano for Mayor and Dean Barbers for vice mayor. For the senatoriables, I haven’t really listed down who my actual candidates are.
Roderick Paulate, actor: For Congress: Mike Planas because I believe in his integrity and sincerity to serve the 3rd district of Quezon City.
For Senators: Winnie Monsod, Juan Flavier, Joker Arroyo, Frank Drilon, Serge Osmena, Jun Magsaysay, Ralph Recto, Manny Villar, Kiko Pangilinan
I am supporting the re-electionist because they have proven themselves. As for Ralph Recto, he has served Batangas well. Manny Villar has proven himself in Congress. Kiko Pangilinan embodies the traits of a new politician.
Katrina Legarda, TV host, lawyer: I will vote for Abanse Pinay!, the woman’s sectoral party, in the party-list elections. And I will vote for as many women senatoriables whom I consider qualified, such as Winnie Monsod. I will vote for some independent senatorial candidates. They will have no utang na loob to any person or party if they win and may even become truly independent thinkers in the Senate. Many of the independents are highly qualified and deserve a chance. I will not vote for anyone who has littered our cities and landscapes with their paper posters. Nor will I vote for anyone who has violated Comelec rules regarding the placement of their bills.
