MANILA, Philippines - The White Hat at Shangri-La Edsa Plaza Mall has moved its fundraising event with celebrity server Miriam Quiambao to Sunday, May 2, from 2 to 6 pm.
The beauty queen herself will be serving her unique yogurt creations. There are two special combos -”Summer Delight”, a refreshing combination of The White Hat’s very own homemade granola, kiwi, peaches or strawberries for the fabulously healthy and “Passionate Indulgence”, a tempting combination of homemade brownies, walnut streusel and chocolate syrup for the young at heart.
For every cup of yogurt sold during the day, 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Real Life Foundation. It takes only 250 cups to provide one year high school education for one Real Life scholar.
Real Life Foundation is an educational advocacy organization dedicated to serving the poor and improving their lives through educational assistance, leadership development, and community service. The Foundation already has 115 scholars spread out in different cities all over the Philippines.
Limited edition T-shirts designed by Miriam will be sold, and proceeds will also go to scholars of Real Life.
Every buyer of Miriam’s combos get a free White Radiance Facial Mask from Olay and is also entitled to join the raffle and get a free makeover from Lay Bare Libis and Hairworks Salon.
