MANILA, Philippines — Social media personalities RR Enriquez and Toni Fowler hopped into the Alex Gonzaga cake smearing bandwagon by joining Team Alex.
In her Instagram account, RR said it’s not easy to be a comedian.
“Sawsaw sawsaw!! Can’t wait to vlog but let me comment in this one first. It’s sooooo easy to judge someone base on what we saw on social media… Or based on the mistakes na nagawa nya…
She also said that she doesn’t see anything wrong with putting icing on someone’s cake, but that someone should be a friend.
“But your intension naman is not to harm or mamahiya ng tao…. I honestly didn’t see anything wrong sa pag pahid ng cake… Kapag birthday mo you have the right na mag pahid ng cake or worst ikaw ang pahiran at hindi ka pwede magalit. Pero totoo na you can only do that sa mga ka close mo,” she said.
Yes trabaho namin yun and we are paid to do that and yung waiter hindi. Tama naman. But minsan kailangan din natin lawakan ang isip natin hindi lang puro bash,” she added.
RR, however, said that comedians should grow up and mature.
“But as a comedienne we can’t always use the word gusto ko lang magpatawa. Sometimes we need to grow up and mature also. I’m sure matututo na din si Alex kumalma ng konti at uminom muna ng mga gamot bago mag patawa CHAROT,” she said.
“I can relate kasi.. Nung nag trending ako sa Busina prank.. Bago ako mag patawa ngayon at mag post nag iisip na ako at umiinom muna ako ng gamot pang pakalma CHAROT. But again please stop judging her or us na mga nagkamali dahil lang gusto namin magpatawa at dahil hindi kami nag iisip ng tama,” she added.
Meanwhile, Toni said that she's not defending Alex but the public saw her as if she's a criminal.
She is also saddened with other content creators not posting to defend Alex on social media.
