MANILA, Philippines - Despite his manly and brawny physique, Hugh Jackman undeniably has a soft heart.

On September 29, the Australian actor took to Instagram to share his recent heartwarming meeting with a Pinay who gave him a painting of Wolverine made by her brother, who passed away two years ago.

According to the caption, the boy named Jeffrey loved painting the most as a hobby and did not stop from doing it despite losing the ability to paint with his hands.

Touched by the unfortunate event, Jackman accepted the painting in Jeffrey's honor.

"Today I had the great pleasure of meeting this lovely lady, Marie Lozano from the Philippines. Her brother, Jeffrey, had Down Syndrome. He passed away 2 years ago. Marie shared with me that one of Jeffrey's joys in life was painting. When he lost the use of his hands he continued to paint with the brush in his mouth. I accept this gift in Jeffrey's honor. May his spirit live on," the caption reads.

Jackman is popular for his role as Wolverine in films and for taking part in Les Miserable movie. He is also a part of the upcoming movie, Pan.
