Tastemakers create living spaces at Pottery Barn & Pottery Barn Kids

MANILA, Philippines - Manila’s tastemakers gathered for the launch of the holiday collections of Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids. The event highlighted a series of festive vignettes created in collaboration with top fashion and lifestyle personalities who each broughttheir unique style to the table.

Author and blogger Jenni Epperson presented her dining setup called “Silver Belle,” which featured pops of ruby red dinnerware and silver accents. TV personality and former beauty queen Maggie Wilson-Consunji created a “Feminin” bedroom done in classic winter white. Audrey Zubiri’s playful kids’ room is aptly titled “Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice” with its sweet palette of pink and cream. Finally, Tatler editor-at-large, Mia Borromeo and iconic designer Lulu Tan-Gan partnered for “Home for the Holidays” living room vignette, which featured a cream sofa topped with holiday-worthy pillows and décor.

The event was capped off with a toast led by SSI Group Inc. president Anton Huang. He was joined by Pottery Barn executives Ron Young, senior vice president of global for Williams-Sonoma Inc.; Michelle Hummel, VP of global merchandising for Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids; and Kerri Ackermann, global brand director for West Elm.

Noted for their classic and casual aesthetic, Pottery Barn offers a menagerie of elegant holiday pieces for every room in the home. For the requisite Christmas gathering, bring out the cut glass barware in cheerful shades of glittering ruby, smoke or clear, alongside whimsical pieces from the handcrafted Santa collection including patterned plates, mugs and sleigh serve bowl. Or opt for the Winter Village dinnerware collection featuring heirloom-inspired silverware and chargers.

Set the mood with the German glitter village in which each building was carefully handcrafted with intricate details — a nod to homemade 1920s era Christmas décor. Carry on the Christmas theme to your living room with nostalgic pillow covers in a range of lively prints and cozy textures like ikat and knit, punctuated by cheerful details including tiny jingle bells and hand-tied French knots. Finally, don’t forget to regale the children’s room with Pottery Barn Kids’ delightful decorations and home accessories including linens and beddings, vintage-inspired toys, dollhouses and, of course, the classic Christmas stocking, which will surely get the kids excited for Christmas morning.

In the Philippines, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids are exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. — a member of the SSI Group— and are located at Central Square, Bonifacio High Street Central.
