Paving the way to high art and an exceptional showcase of talent for design is the recently held photo exhibit entitled “Ablazablaze 2012: The Emperor’s New Clothes.” It was a breathtaking affair, complete with stunning laser lights and roaring taiko beats that complemented the 48 photos crafted by the country’s finest photographers and stylists. Held at the Manila Polo Club’s Main Lounge, the grand event showed the innate creativity of the talented Junjun Ablaza with his incomparable work on the mannequins clad in traditional kimonos with a contemporary touch, adorned with obi belts and accessories. Several guests from the diplomatic and business groups and society icons including Junjun’s supportive parents, Zambia consul Louie Ablaza and Guatemala consul Mellie Ablaza, ambassador of Indonesia, Kristiarto Legowo and wife, Caecilia, ambassador of Iraq, Wadee Al-Batti with wife, Nadia and Vibal Group of Companies chair Esther Vibal were present among many others.
