MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine School of Interior Design and the College of Saint Benilde, in cooperation with SM City North EDSA Interior Zone, present “I.D. Your Home,” a lecture series that presents decorating from a design perspective.
Scheduled for all Saturdays of August, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the SM North EDSA Interior Zone are: “Accessorizing 101” by IDr. Pojie Pambid on Aug. 13; “Table Setting & Themed Table Arrangement” by Maricar Dela Rama on Aug. 20; and Flower Arrangement & Foliage Styling by IDr. Michael Pizarro on Aug. 27.
The Interior Zone will also feature vignettes designed by PSID students from Aug. 13 to 28.
The SM City North EDSA Interior Zone is a 300 m. long lifestyle center that is a one-stop shop for furniture, houseware, décor, upholstery and wallpaper, tiles, and lighting fixtures.
“I.D Your Home” is a prelude to “Jak En Poy: Bato, Gunting, Papel, Atbp.: An Interior Design Exhibit of Sustainable Proportions,” the graduation exhibit of the PSID Advanced Class of 2011, which runs from October 1-31 at the Interior Zone, SM City North EDSA, Quezon City.
In cooperation with with SM City North EDSA Interior Zone, “Jak en Poy” showcases 20 different spaces designed in creatively planned solutions. Sustainable interior materials, such as stone, steel, concrete, paper, glass, wood, bamboo, rubber, plastic and clay, are applied to interior design booths that evoke different moods and styles, conscious of the concept of designing for a better world.
