To celebrate the wonders of art, the Aurelio Periquet, Jr. Foundation recently hosted the opening reception and exhibit of MARLICA at the Whitewall Gallery in Makati City. The current exhibit features works by Marichu Liwag-Carstensen who is a medical doctor-turned businesswoman. Her art depicts her own way of caring for her patients which can be described as caring, colorful, and moving. Proceeds from each painting sold will go to the scholarship program of the foundation. Seen during the opening of the exhibit were Aurelio Periquet Foundation president Anna Marie Periquet, Whitewall Gallery owner Antonio Versoza and Docs Candles owner Morten Carstensen, among many others.
Touring Tokyo
The lovely globe-trotter Salome Uy satisfied her craving for shopping and travelling when she recently went to the bustling city of Tokyo in Japan. Joining her in the fun-filled tour in the capital city of the land of the rising sun were close friends Dexter Sy, Claudette Vitug, Patrick and Ingrid Go, Stevie Villacin, and Frederick and Rodina Velasco. After visits to Hermes, Chanel, and numerous top Japanese boutiques with highly-rated shopping deals, could the consumption of Wagyu and Kobe beef be far behind?
Cheers!
