Floral fashion show at 14th Festival of Trees
Manila’s A-listers and captains of industry gathered at the Manila Polo Club as flowers and fashion took center stage at the recently concluded 14th Festival of Trees. Organized by Mindy Perez-Rubio, the tireless ladies of the Makati Garden Club and the Philippine Business for Social Progress, the event raised funds for impoverished schools in war-torn Basilan and Maguindanao and the victims of the recent typhoons. “You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give,” said Festival of Trees honorary chairman Manuel V.
