The Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, the top business and leisure destination of choice in the Queen City of the South, continues its tradition of excellence as they recently hosted one of the most awaited and animated celebrations in the world. A worldwide tradition spanning continents, the Beaujolais Nouveau is wine from the first grape harvest of the season in France.
Joining this clamor for wine and tradition is Cebu with its biggest celebration ever courtesy of the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Starting off the festivities was the ceremonial uncorking of the first bottle by Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, the French Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Chesnel, Le Club president Bernard Flour, MPPC’s president Rey Villar and indefatigable GM Hans Hauri. Gracing the joyous occasion was Yves-Dominique Ferraud, owner of the vineyard and producer of the Beaujolais wines that were served. Congratulations to the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu for such a successful event!
