Retire in style

Why go to heaven if you’re already here?" Such were the words of retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Thomas Booze when he gazed around the area soon to become his home: Camp John Hay in Baguio.

He owns a quaint two-story duplex called forest cabin. The rustic-inspired homes have cozy interiors, spacious balconies and dining areas that extend to a back patio, fireplaces for those cold nights, comfy bedrooms, and other modern amenities. The landscape design makes use of various plants endemic to Baguio, providing an added touch of charm to the cabins. Booze was drawn in by Camp John Hay’s peaceful surroundings, fresh mountain air, and cool weather similar to most parts of the US.

Booze plans to relocate within the next five or six years for his retirement. "I want to enjoy life here and I don’t want to wait until I’m old and gray like the others," he said. The retired officer even plans to introduce and promote Camp John Hay in his hometown in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Indeed, Camp John Hay Forest Cabin is the ideal choice for those who want a better quality of life.
