Big Bowl of China unleashed its dragon of a restaurant at the Greenbelt Mall in Makati with a night of food, drinks, music and merrymaking in proportions that only the Big Bowl knows best – bottomless!
Senator Loren Legarda-Leviste and Fila president Butch Albert formally opened the doors to the new restaurant after a Chinese traditional fan dance and a song number by Repertory’s Ampee Sietereales. Little girls in colorful cheongsams offered golden coins to the guests and real coins were showered to usher in prosperity. But with or without them, prosperity is expected for Big Bowl because of its sumptuous menu, immense serving portions and, most of all, affordable prizes.
An endless queue of delighted diners sampled Big Bowl’s most popular dishes in a Lauriat buffet. To symbolize abundance, Big Bowl served its trademark fried rice. Noodle dishes lured in long life. Drinks overflowed and easily cooled the humid night.
The partying crowd included the most gorgeous young celebs: sultry singer Stella Ruiz, Studio 23 VJ JM Rodriguez, hot TV host and Young STAR columnist Marc Nelson, STAR columnist Lexi Schulze and popular model Illac Diaz.
True to its name, the inauguration of Big Bowl of China defied all proportions of partying!
