Domingo & Kay Siazon get a Japanese Fete

Manoling and Chito Madrigal Collantes, two of Philippine society’s gentrified icons, recently hosted an intimate despedida at their posh North Forbes residence for recently appointed Ambassador to Japan, Domingo Siazon Jr. and affable wife Kay Siazon. Collaborating with Manoling, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and dame Chito were Ambassador Enrique Syquia Jr. and wife Letty Syquia.

Joining the tribute to Jun and Kay were Vice President and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Tito Guingona, former DOTC Secretary Josie Lichauco, Don Ado Escudero, consul general of Togo Evie Costa, consul general Mike and Alice Guerrero, consul general of Monacco Fortune Ledesma, Mariana Hubbard, FCCP president Thelma Gana, Ces Mapa Manalo, Boysie Villavicencio, Marietta Santos, Bob and Luz Cullen.

Also present were Singaporean Ambassador Jacky Foo and wife Dr. Su Yumian, Italian Ambassador Umberto and Clara Collisanti, Nellie Bengzon, Tony Lopa, Louie and Mellie Ablaza.

An exquisite buffet was arranged for the evening, along with chilled white and red wines. The evening was further enlivened by the music provided by Gloria Gatmaitan and the band.

It was a melancholic evening as friends bid the couple well as they embark on their new stint in Japan.
