Trekking up Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain, the famous Internet e-card shop and one of the world’s bestselling greeting card companies, officially launched its printed greeting cards in the country recently. The company was introduced to distributors, the press and Manila’s well-heeled crowd.

It was an enchanted evening of cocktails hosted by Blue Mountain Arts Philippines CEO Harry Limtong. The decor tried to duplicate a soothing meadow with a grand flower trellis at the entrance and white picket fence on the curved pathway that led to a view of Blue Mountain, blended with captivating music from a live string ensemble. Part of the picket fence had a parked antique bicycle while a mailbox adorned the gate at the entrance of the pathway, completing the laid-back ambience of a countryside abode.

Setting the mood and further adding color to the occasion, singer Vina Morales rendered a set of heartwarming songs similarly conveyed in Blue Mountain cards.

Blue Mountain also pledged to donate P1 for every card sold to PGH cancer patients, a charity of First Gentleman Mike Arroyo. Presidential daughter Luli Arroyo received the manifesto on behalf of her father. Captain Ludivico Franco, director of PMA ‘74 Marangal Foundation, which also supports the First Gentleman’s projects, was also present.

Limtong shared his enthusiasm over the impressive results of their market test last year and the fantastic sale of Blue Mountain Greeting Cards last Christmas.
