MANILA, Philippines - The phrase "love month" topped Yahoo! Search's list of trending searches leading to Valentine's Day in the Philippines.
Romance-related themes were also among the top topics searched for by online Filipinos, who are obviously "in search of love," the Internet company said.
Twitter Philippines, meanwhile, reflected "Happy Valentine's Day" as the most talked-about topic on the social network, followed by the hashtag for singles #SpreadtheLove popularized by collegiate basketball star Kiefer Ravena.

The second most searched keyword on Yahoo! Philippines is "p pop love songs" pertaining to Himig Handog's songwriting competition in search of future music talents.
Users are also in search for new and creative ways to greet their loved ones as "Valentine messages for someone special" placed third in the list.
This is followed by "true love" and "February quotes" as netizens attempted to discover and define the abstract.
Sixth to tenth placers in the roster of most frequent searches were also associated with romance, love and consumer goods February is known for.
