Futbol for funatics

Football has always been popular with the young kids, even during my generation. But with the regular success of our national team, the Azkals, the sport has been resurrected to heights never seen in recent years!

More and more kids are starting to gravitate to the sport and that can only mean that the progress of football will rise tremendously in the near future.

It was a fantastic day of family football when Futbol Funatics Soccer Camp for Kids celebrated its annual summer tournament, The Belo Sun Expert Summer Soccer Cup 2014, held last month at the Cuenca Field and covered court in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa.

As a culminating tournament for Futbol Funatics’ soccer camps held around the metro, this year’s event was hosted by Belo Sun Expert and sponsored by Mizuno, Chalk magazine, Goody Gulp, and Balls Channel, the official broadcaster of the World Cup 2014.

The much anticipated Belo Sun Expert Summer Soccer Cup 2014 showcased hundreds of students from ages three to 17 who attend Futbol Funatics camps in its branches at BGC Turf-Taguig, UrdanetaPark-Makati, Meralco Center-Pasig, Cuenca Field-Alabang, Tahanan Village Field-Parañaque, Elizabeth Seton School-Cavite, Prepcamp-BF Homes, Koifc-Las Piñas, and Goodstart School-QC. It was a wonderful showcase of talent and sportsmanship enjoyed by the Futbol Funatics families and football enthusiasts alike.

Futbol Funatics, now in its 11th year, continues to hold year-round football camps for kids of all ages, geared towards uplifting the skill level of young footballers in the Philippines and building their character and values through the beautiful game of football (www.futbolfunatics.com / 0917-329-0011).

Let’s get more kids interested in the sport of football!
