Monk teaches modern Buddhism

MANILA, Philippines - Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Rabten will give teachings on modern Buddhism on Nov. 17-18 as well as give guided meditations.

Gen Kelsang Rabten is the national spiritual director for New Zealand and Australia of the New Kadampa Tradition–International Kadampa Buddhist Union and the resident teacher for Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong.  His teachings have inspired many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.

These teachings and meditations will start on November 17, Saturday, at 10 a.m. and finish at 4:30 pm, and on November 18, Sunday, at 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the training facility of the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI) located at the old Kodak building on 2247 Chino Roces Ave. (formerly Pasong Tamo), Makati City. There is no course fee though generous donations are appreciated and welcome.
