MANILA, Philippines - The local government of Carmona, Cavite, led by Mayor Dahlia Loyola (right), launched the municipal-wide door-to-door Ligtas Tigdas campaign of the Department of Health recently. Around 1,271 kids from Oregano, Brgy. Maduya were vaccinated against measles. The program is ongoing in different barangays through barangay health workers and the Municipal Health Office. The nationwide campaign aims to protect children aged nine months to seven years and 11 months against measles.
