Get into shap

CEBU, Philippines - Makati Medical Center (MakatiMed) continues to widen its network of partner hospitals in South Luzon, with Mary Mediatrix Medical Center (Mediatrix) and Metro Lemery Medical Center (MLMC) signing up for its Strategic Hospital Alliance Program or SHAP. Under the program, MLMC and Mediatrix may refer patients to MakatiMed, where they can have access to its facilities and services such as highly-specialized laboratory tests. Patients are also set to gain from collaborations among MakatiMed physicians and their counterparts in the partner hospitals. MakatiMed VP for sales, business planning and development Dina G. Paraiso shakes the hand of Mediatrix president and medical director Dr. Robert M. Magsino (center), after signing a partnership agreement for SHAP. With them are MakatiMed Business Planning head Elizabeth Austria and Mediatrix operating officer Dr. James SD Songco. The SHAP program is also piloted in select hospitals in Laguna and Cavite. MakatiMed also hopes to roll out the SHAP program to other parts of Luzon as well as the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
