MANILA, Philippines - The Institute for Steiner’s Ideas in Practice (ISIP) Philippines is hosting a series of seminars and workshops on health and wellness on August 19-21. Member practitioners from the Philippine Association of Anthroposophic Health Practitioners Inc. (PAAHPI), Anthroposophia Wellness Foundation Inc. (AWFI), Clinica Blumea team, and many other experts will talk on curative education, lifestyle issues, cancer prevention, art therapy, eurythmy, holistic pediatric care, intelligent nutrition, home remedies for common ailments, and the concept of salutogenesis, focusing on factors that support human health and well-being, rather than on factors that cause disease.
To kick off the health event, a one-day seminar with Dr. Jenny Madamba entitled “Holistic Health: A Breakthrough with the Spirit” will be held today, July 13 at ISIP Center, 6241 Palma corner Mañalac Streets, Makati City. Dr. Madamba is a certified family physician who specializes in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and anthroposophic medicine.
Dr. Madamba will guide participants through an exploration of the mind-body connection and give an introduction to biography work and the emotional freedom technique. The two-part course is for those intent on taking charge of their health and understanding the true nature of illness.
A fee of P1,500 will be charged for the seminar’s Parts 1 and 2, inclusive of a nutritious lunch with bio-dynamic vegetables. Only P800 will be charged for attendance in the morning or afternoon session.
