MANILA, Philippines - Hip, snazzy, and fun — this year’s Globe My Fair Share eco-bags make social empowerment and conscious consumerism way cooler with three new designs by Team Manila Graphic Design Studio. The bags are produced under the Globe My Fair Share Program, which enables small producers and community beneficiaries with livelihood opportunities, capacity-building, and provision of market access.
This year, Globe Bridging Communities collaborated with Team Manila to come up with three new designs for the My Fair Share eco-bag. Available in Globe stores nationwide, the eco-bags will be sold for only P120, proceeds of which all go directly to the communities which produce them.
“The My Fair Share program advocates caring for the environment but it also transforms the way Globe gives back — not only by aiding partners and beneficiary communities with capital, funds for capacity and skills development and ICT tools — but also by empowering them with livelihood opportunities,†shares Rob Nazal, Globe head for corporate social responsibility.
In 2012, the Globe My Fair Share eco-bag enriched the lives of our partner beneficiaries and small community producers and generated over P2 million in revenues. This year, the My Fair Share program tapped more community producers: Pamana Pag-Asa Boni Producers Cooperative in Mandaluyong, Caritas Manila, and sewers from Tahanang Walang Hagdanan in Cainta, Rizal.
The My Fair Share eco-bags are available at the following Globe stores: SM San Fernando, SM Consolacion, SM Megamall, Power Plant Mall, Greenhills Hub, Shangri-la Mall, Podium Hub, SM Fairview, SM Taytay, SM Rosales, CDO Limketkai, Ayala Mall Centrio, SM Cagayan de Oro, SM Batangas, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Naga, Abreeza Mall and SM Davao, SM Mandurriao and SM Delgado.
